Google Gemini

Connect Daily Kairos to Google Gemini via Google AI Studio. Gemini offers a generous free tier, making it a great option if you're just getting started with AI Bible reflections.

🌐 Step 1 — Get your Gemini API key

Sign in to Google AI Studio at aistudio.google.com with your Google account, then follow the instructions there to create an API key. Copy the key once it's generated.

📱 Step 2 — Enter the key in Daily Kairos

Open Daily Kairos, tap the Settings icon (⚙️), then tap AI Provider. Tap Add Provider.

Select Google Gemini from the provider menu.

Paste your API key into the API Key field.

Tap the Model field and choose a model from the dropdown (e.g. gemini-2.0-flash for speed, or gemini-2.5-pro for deeper reflections).

Tap Verify & Save. If the key is valid, Google Gemini will be saved and set as your active provider. If there's an error, double-check that you copied the full key correctly.
