Apple Intelligence
On supported devices with Apple Intelligence enabled, Daily Kairos uses it automatically as the default AI provider — no API key or account required. Everything runs on-device, privately.
Requirements
Apple Intelligence requires all of the following:
Supported device — iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, or any iPhone 16 model; iPad with an M1 chip or later.
iOS / iPadOS 18.1 or later — Go to Settings → General → Software Update to check.
Device language set to English (US) — Apple Intelligence is currently available in English only.
Apple Intelligence enabled in Settings (see steps below).
Enabling Apple Intelligence
If Apple Intelligence is not yet enabled on your device, go to Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri and turn it on. If prompted, follow the on-screen steps to download the required model — this takes a few minutes over Wi-Fi.

Once Apple Intelligence is enabled, open Daily Kairos. The app detects it automatically and sets it as the active AI provider — no API key, no account, no extra configuration needed.
Look up any Bible passage and reflections are generated entirely on-device. Responses feel snappy because nothing is sent to an external server.
To switch to a different provider at any time, tap the Settings icon (⚙️) → AI Provider and choose another option.
